Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support and optimize the infrastructure of one of our key projects in Lisbon .

Location: Hybrid – Lisbon, Portugal

Start Date: ASAP

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN , firewalls , and VPN solutions
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure network security and compliance with corporate standards
• Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments
• Work with cloud and on-premise network systems
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure efficient network operations
• Manage routing , switching , and load balancing configurations

• Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering
• Strong experience with Cisco , Fortinet , or Juniper environments
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP , BGP , OSPF , and firewall management
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios)
• Familiar with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Knowledge of IT security policies , VPNs , and remote access protocols
• Experience with network automation (Ansible, Python scripting is a plus)
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA , CCNP , or Fortinet NSE are a strong plus
• Fluent in English (B2 minimum). Portuguese is a plus
