N-able is looking to hire an Associate Software Engineer. This hybrid entry level role could be an excellent start to your career as a recent Software Engineering graduate or maybe for someone who has 1-2 years experience.

This role is based in our Lisbon hub.

  • What You'll Do
  • Analyzes bugs and implements fixes and improvements.
  • Proactively assists with customer issues resolution, root cause analysis, and issue prevention.
  • Helps define and deliver valuable, usable, and testable user stories on time.
  • Improves product quality by participating in test automation and providing technical feedback.
  • Develops production quality code under supervision.
  • Consults with senior peers on projects to learn through experience.
  • Proactively learns new things.
  • What You'll Bring
  • Ability to follow best practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
  • Showing creativity and interest in coming up with new ideas and solutions.
  • A passion for learning and keeping up to date with the latest technology and design concepts.
  • Experience writing code in at least two technologies: GO C#, Jave JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, Python,
  • Experience using basic software development tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, and Build and QA Automation processes and systems.
  • Commercial experience in software design and development focused on product development.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a desire to develop great products. A team player and hard worker with high potential to learn new skills.
