Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with exceptional expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive network solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale multi-datacenter service provider or enterprise networks, and possess advanced knowledge of Cisco Nexus platforms.
- The successful Network Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-availability network configurations, ensuring seamless integration of diverse networking technologies, and providing top-notch technical support to teams and upper management.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience as a senior network engineer in a large-scale multi-datacenter service provider or enterprise network.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Nexus platforms, including vPC, dual-homed and single-homed FEX.
- Expertise in Cisco ASR1000, C8500 series platforms, and IOS-XE.
- Proficient in Cisco ASA and FirePower 4100 platforms.
- Familiarity with F5 load balancers (iSeries or rSeries).
- Expert in dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, with a working knowledge of ISIS.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Utilization of monitoring and management tools like Zabbix.
- Strong understanding of network engineering security principles, firewall rules, Cryptography PKI/Certificate Management, Attack vectors, Risk vs Vulnerabilities/Mitigation, and DDoS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a collaborative work environment, passionate about sharing knowledge and ideas with others.
