We have 350 employees in Paris and Lyon. As part of our international development, we are looking for a Backend Software Developer for our new office in Lisbon.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

At Bedrock, we're looking for a Backend developer with a strong understanding of data management and processing. You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining the systems that make data calculated by our data science teams accessible to the rest of the organization.

  • As an API Data Engineer, you’ll:
  • Create, test and maintain APIs for Data products
  • Participate in code architecture discussions
  • Force of proposal for the improvement and stabilization on existing code and tools
  • WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • 3 years of experience in creating APIs, preferably Python, but also Go, PHP, Rust
  • Comfortable with cloud tools (AWS in particular)
  • Optional skills:
  • Notions of Infra as Code (Terraform)
  • DevOps appetite (kubernetes, haproxy, monitoring)
  • Good knowledge of SQL and databases in general
  • Streaming and events (Kafka, Kinesis, .)
  • You also have :
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Eye for detail and curiosity
  • Ability to respond to requests from outside the team
