We are looking for an experienced Network Expert to join our client’s IT infrastructure team.
This is a non-mutualised position, providing additional expertise and operational support to internal stakeholders and legacy customers.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring network stability, performance, and security across a complex, multi-environment infrastructure.
- Key Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco or equivalent network devices
- Ensure network availability, performance, and security
- Manage firewall rules, ACLs, and VPNs for secure access and data protection
- Work with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF protocols
- Support and optimize load balancing solutions (F5 experience is a plus)
- Automate network tasks using PowerShell, JavaScript, or LotusScript
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
- Collaborate with Wintel, Unix, Backup, and Security teams, as well as business stakeholders
- Required Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in network administration or engineering roles
- Expert-level knowledge of Cisco (or equivalent) equipment
- Strong understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, JavaScript, LotusScript)
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+ are advantageous
