Data Center Support Engineer (Tier 2)

We are recruiting a Level 2 Data Center Support Technician for a direct integration in one of our clients in the technology sector. This professional will join an infrastructure support team and will be responsible for incident investigation, troubleshooting and resolution, ensuring the stability of Data Center environments, with a strong focus on Virtualization, Storage, Backups and Operating Systems.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 support in a Service Desk environment for Data Center operations;
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents related to virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix);
  • Support and maintain virtual and physical servers (Windows Server / Linux);
  • Perform troubleshooting on backup systems and shared storage solutions (NetApp, Dell, etc.);
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain performance and reliability.
  • Requirements
  • Experience in Windows and/or Linux administration;
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.);
  • Knowledge of networking, storage and cybersecurity principles;
  • Previous experience with ITSM/ticketing tools;
  • Solid troubleshooting capability in complex scenarios;
  • Certifications such as VCP, MCSA, NetApp or Dell are a plus;
  • Experience with Cloud, VDI and automation will be valued.
