About the Role
As an IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator, you’ll join Preh Portugal (Trofa) to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in maintaining systems that support our global automotive operations, while driving efficiency through automation, maintenance, and compliance.

  • The Challenges in Front of You:
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, systems, and applications.
  • Manage virtualization environments and automate routine processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform and monitor data backups, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Prepare technical documentation and contribute to infrastructure planning.
  • Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and system optimizations.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Apply 5S methodology and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table:
You're more than your resume - you're passionate for excellence, proactive, and growth-minded. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft, Linux, and VMware environments.
  • Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SIP, TLS, MFA, Active Directory, and Group Policies (GPOs).
  • Understanding of network topology, redundancy, and optimization principles.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
