Senior Network & Security Engineer (Cisco, Firewalls, L2 L3)

Long-Term Contract Lisbon (Hybrid : 1 day onsite, 4 days remote) - Start date : February 2026

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer to join a highly skilled infrastructure team supporting critical business services. This is a long-term contract role, based in Lisbon, offering a flexible hybrid working model (one day per week in the office).

You will play a key role in the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise-scale network and security infrastructure, while also providing technical leadership across projects and day-to-day operations.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, plan, and implement network and security infrastructure supporting multiple business units
  • Provide operational support for daily activities and incident resolution in complex environments
  • Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects, from design through delivery
  • Act as a senior escalation point for network and security incidents
  • Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality delivery across network and security domains
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and automation teams to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure operational excellence, stability, and security across the environment

  • SSL VPN / SASE : Palo Alto SASE
  • Monitoring & Observability : Netmetrix, Grafana
  • Automation & Tooling
  • Security policy automation using Tufin
  • Support for atomic function development for :

  • Close collaboration with DevOps teams on automation initiatives
