The Legal & Contracts area within EDP GBS is seeking a Contracts & Data Protection Specialist.

  • What you will do:
  • Analyze, draft, and negotiate national and international contracts, including service agreements, IT/Technology & Telecommunications (T&T) contracts, outsourcing, supply, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, with particular emphasis on personal data protection (GDPR) and contractual compliance, mitigating legal risk and aligning with internal EDP policies.
  • Incorporate data protection clauses, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), international transfers, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as Procurement, IT, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Data Protection Officers.
  • Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory changes impacting contracts and data protection.
  • Contribute to the harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement of contractual templates and best practices across the Group.

  • What we are looking for:
  • University degree in Law or related field.
  • Between 3–5 years of relevant experience in contract analysis and negotiation, civil and commercial law, particularly in Technology & Telecommunications (T&T) contracts.
  • Experience in personal data protection (GDPR) and contractual compliance is highly valued.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is highly valued.
