Design Leadership Role

Darkroom seeks a highly experienced UX Lead and Designer to spearhead our UI/UX Design, Brand Design, and Marketing Design initiatives. This full-time position demands expert design leadership, emphasizing not only creative excellence but also efficiency, scalability, and teamwork.

• Primary Responsibilities
• Directly supervise 2-4 junior designers, nurturing their professional growth through continuous feedback and coaching.
• Oversee various design projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, and consistency with established design guidelines.
• Develop and maintain robust component systems and design guidelines to foster a consistent design language throughout the company.
• Provide clear, concise design documentation and specifications to facilitate seamless collaboration with the development team.

• Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of senior-level UX design experience, coupled with substantial experience in managing junior designers.
• Outstanding proficiency in Figma, Auto Layout, Components, Variants, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Comprehensive understanding of web design principles, color theory, hierarchy, composition, and typography.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
