Product designers at Unbabel work collaboratively across all stages of product development, from idea generation to prototype creation and production. They ensure the solution is both usable and visually engaging. A successful product designer balances product thinking, interaction design, and visual design skills, driving quality improvements and creating empathy for end-users.

Internship Details
This 9-month internship in our Lisbon office presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced product designers and work closely with product and engineering teams as part of a Product Trio. You'll contribute to shaping intuitive, user-centric solutions that align with our business goals.

This internship offers an exciting chance to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact within a dynamic B2B tech environment focused on deep tech and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
Work on various aspects of the design process, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and testing, while being mentored by a dedicated team of designers
Communicate design decisions through wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine design solutions
Help maintain and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency across all products
Create clear documentation and presentations to communicate design decisions
Participate in design critiques, offering and receiving constructive feedback

Required Skills and Qualifications
You've recently completed or are currently pursuing a degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or related areas
A portfolio showcasing projects that demonstrate your design skills and process, whether from academic work or real-world experience
Sharp visual skills, attention to detail, and passion for creating engaging user experiences
Proficiency in design tools
Understanding of usability heuristics and design principles
Proactive attitude, comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work within a team environment
Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher)
