Summary

The Experience Designer will focus on designing and integrating software applications for metrology solutions within Hexagon’s existing design ecosystem. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a team of six to seven designers, as well as developers and product managers, to create user-centered designs that meet customer needs.

• Job Responsibilities
• Design and prototype software applications that integrate into Hexagon’s platform.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other designers to create user-centered designs.
• Conduct user research to identify customer needs and validate design solutions.
• Utilize design systems to ensure consistency and usability across applications.
• Facilitate design workshops and collaborative sessions to drive innovation.
• Present design concepts and research findings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Participate in global projects, ensuring a seamless user experience across different markets.

• Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in software application design.
• Expertise in prototyping, using tools like Figma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of design systems and best practices.
• Experience in user research and usability testing.
• Ability to facilitate design workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to leadership and collaborate across teams.
