Our Flagship product, UniGana, is a unique financial rewards platform designed to empower Mexican immigrants and their families through technology, referrals, and beautifully branded experiences.

What Makes This Role Exciting

• As a Graphic Designer at Road 9, you’ll work primarily on UniGana, a platform that blends playful, hand-crafted illustrations with serious functionality. You’ll work closely with our branding, marketing, and product teams to:
• Expand and evolve the UniGana brand using a library of existing illustrations and templates.
• Create new illustrations, designs, and visual assets as needed across various styles—some structured and professional, others vibrant and playful.
• Respond to fast-paced design needs for digital, video, web, print, and social platforms.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a multi-project environment, can switch between different visual tones, and excels under short timelines.

• Key Responsibilities
• Visual Identity & Illustration
• Work with and build upon the established UniGana brand identity, including custom illustrations.
• Create high-quality visual assets tailored for the platform, marketing, training, and PR.
• UI & Web Design
• Support the UI/UX team with responsive designs that align with brand and usability standards.
• Help build out design systems and keep UI components visually consistent and on-brand.
• Marketing & Social Media
• Design static and animated assets for campaigns, tutorials, and social posts.
• Create short-form videos using a mix of photos, illustrations, typography and brand messaging.
• Presentations & Sales Materials
• Develop visually compelling presentations for partners, stakeholders, and internal training.
• Ensure all documents reflect brand consistency and storytelling clarity.
• Fast-Paced Production
• Work with quick turnaround times while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly with team members to prioritize and manage overlapping design tasks.

• What You Bring
• A strong portfolio showcasing a mix of illustration, branding, marketing, and UI/web design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Figma experience a big plus.
• Experience producing designs in both structured/professional and playful/illustrative styles.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and deliver on short deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (required – our working language).
• Proficiency in remote work, time management, and collaboration across time zones.

• Additional Skills We Value
• Experience in video editing or animation (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Background in UI/UX or web design systems.
• Past experience in mission-driven or multicultural projects.
