**Velocix** are looking for an experience and creative **UI/UX Architect** to integrate our team to work in one of our core products.

The role is based in Portugal, and we have the possibility to work remote or hybrid.

This person duties include code, maintain aesthetics, and ensure that all solutions are user-friendly. You should also analyze the behaviors and patterns of users to improve overall functionality.

• To be successful as a UI/UX Architect, you should be passionate about user satisfaction. Ultimately, a high-quality UI/UX Architect will be an expert in problem-solving and an innovative thinker.
• *Responsibilities**
• - Partner with business teams to understand the desired product outcomes, gather insights and test concepts with users in order to inform design decision
• - Collaborate with team members to identify, prioritize, and implement design solutions in a fast - paced, rapidly changing environment
• - Use wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, storyboards, mockups, and/or high - fidelity prototypes to communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process
• - Leverage and contribute to existing design pattern libraries and interface guidelines
• - Manage progress design work, evaluating the usability and effectiveness of solutions

• Participate in the research process
• *Skills**
• - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• - 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Architect.
• - Good exposure to web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• - Experience with industry standard design tools (Sketch, Axure, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• - Experience creating wireframes and prototypes to communicate design concepts
• - Experience with creating UI frameworks, with React, creating reusable UI components and customisable UI designs.
• - Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
• - Ability to work collaboratively with team and internal clients

• Demonstrated understanding user - centered design and research activities
• Portfolio of relevant user experience design and/or research project deliverables
