UX Design Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate user experience designer to join our design team. This role involves working with the open source community and customers to research new features and improvements. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape the future of Canonical products.

You will engage with the design team to align efforts with product strategy and best practices. Your responsibilities will include evolving and evangelizing design systems that promote consistency and efficiency. You must understand the broader scope of your work and its interconnected constraints. Supporting working groups is also an essential part of this role.

This position requires you to be result-oriented, with a drive to complete work and celebrate success. You should be confident in user research practices and have knowledge of the latest design research and innovation. International travel may be required for company events lasting up to two weeks.
