UX/UI Designer for Accessibility Project
This position requires an experienced UX/UI Designer with a focus on Accessibility to contribute to a dynamic project team based in Lisbon. As part of our team, you will help shape the user experience by designing and implementing accessible interfaces that cater to diverse needs.
Your expertise in creating wireframes, high-level interfaces, prototypes, and navigation models will be invaluable in driving project success. Close collaboration with development teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration and effective project delivery.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of UX/UI design principles and practices, with a strong emphasis on Accessibility. Prior experience in maintaining design systems (UI Kits) in Figma, and adapting designs to various technical constraints, will serve as a foundation for this role. A solid grasp of accessibility guidelines, including WCAG 2.1, is necessary. Preferably, you have up to 10 years of experience or equivalent in UX/UI design.
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial in presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Proficiency in vector drawing and image editing tools like Illustrator and Photoshop is also expected. Additionally, experience in designing usability flows, conducting user research, and facilitating collaborative ideation sessions will enhance your prospects.
Incorporating accessibility principles into designs, understanding technical limitations, and tailoring proposals accordingly, will showcase your ability to successfully manage projects. Background knowledge in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Design Thinking, Service Design, UX (usability), or Research would be highly beneficial. English proficiency is mandatory for effective communication.
