UI/UX Web Designer – Learning Environment. About the Role. At wBrain , we are supporting a key European agency in hiring a UI/UX Web Designer to work on the Academy Learning Environment (ALE) , with a strong focus on- centred design, accessibility, and seamless UI across the following platforms: Moodle (LMS) Training Management System (TMS) Ticketing System (JIRA) Adaptive Learning Platforms Training Landing Zone (TLZ) Academy Catalogue. You’ll be part of a cross-functional Agile team , working on progressive and iterative UI/UX design deliverables , from research and- fi prototypes to- ready artefacts (HTML/CSS templates, JavaScript components, etc.). Core Responsibilities Conduct user research : document personas, journeys, and validated requirements; Design and prototype new user flows aligned with Academy needs; Develop and maintain UI components, design systems, style guides , and mock-ups across platforms; Produce integration-ready HTML/CSS/JS deliverables – especially for Moodle and TMS systems; Validate UI viausability testing, A/B testing and feedback from stakeholders; Draft and deliver design packages for sprints (1-week cycle); Translate business requirements into final artefacts , ready for implementation by development teams. ✅ Mandatory Requirements Security Clearance : Valid national or NATO clearance covering the contract duration; Solid UI/UX design experience , especially in educational and- learning contexts; Proven experience designing for both web and mobile platforms ; Proficiency in Sketch, InVision, Visio , Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop); Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, SCSS and basic JavaScript; Familiarity with iOS and Android design principles ; Experience withMoodle Customisation (HTML/CSS/JS templating); UI testing and iteration – ability to track usability metrics and evolve accordingly; Excellent communication in English (written and spoken); Cross-functional collaboration with developers, product owners, trainers, and QA. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in NATO or government agency design environments; Agile delivery experience (e.G., sprints, planning, retrospectives); Familiarity with training systems , LMS or Adaptive Learning tools; Cloud-based design environments and- level integration; Understanding of UX best practices for accessibility and digital inclusion.
