One of the companies we collaborate with at Joppy, a TOP AI Startup, is looking for aLead UI/UX Product Designerto own and driveall design across the company— from the core product experience to our marketing website, brand identity, and communication touchpoints. This is astrategic, end-to-end leadership rolewhere you'll transform complex AI-native workflows into intuitive interfaces, define our design vision, build our design system from the ground up, and shape how the world experiences our product and brand. Work modality:HYBRID in Madrid (Spain) or Lisbon (Portugal) (3 days/office at week) What you'll do Lead the entire design lifecycle: research → concepts → flows → wireframes → prototypes → polished UI. Turn complex GenAI workflows into simple, elegant, intuitive experiences. Define the design vision for product, platform, website, and brand. Build and scale amodern design systemused across product and marketing. Own the UI/UX of our website and landing pages, aligning visuals with our value proposition. Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to deliver a cohesive experience. Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes and run user tests. Establish best practices, processes, and design culture company-wide. Mentor designers and champion design quality at every level. What we're looking for 5+ years in product design / UI/UX with ownership of complex SaaS products. A strong portfolio showcasing UX, UI, and visual design excellence (product + web). Mastery ofFigma(Sketch/Adobe Suite a plus). Experience conducting research, usability tests, and synthesizing insights. Proven ability to build or scale a design system from scratch. Strong visual craft: typography, layout, color, motion, interaction. Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS to collaborate effectively with engineers. Experience designing for technical or data-rich products. Ability to shape brand expression and communication assets. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfortable in fast-paced startup environments. Nice to have Contributions to the design community (talks, writing, open-source). Experience designing developer tools or AI-centric products.
