Our subscription service provides a compelling alternative to the traditional studio experience, where creators can book unlimited live-stream sessions with a world-class roster of music talent for an affordable monthly fee.

At the core of Musiversal is our incredible musicians; a carefully curated roster comprising the top 1% of global talent. What’s cool is that Musiversal musicians aren’t paid per gig—they’re hired as part of our team, earning stable, fixed incomes in an industry where financial security is hard to come by. This unique model enables creators to access and afford world-class talent, while supporting musicians with reliable and rewarding careers.

Since launching a few years ago, we’ve built a growing team of 80+ musicians, producers, and engineers, serving over 1,000 subscribers. Together, we’ve helped produce 40,000 tracks (with some winning Grammys!) through over 100,000 sessions.

Our passionate team of 20 operates remotely across Lisbon, New York, London, and more. Who we are looking for ????

We're looking for a talented frontend engineer to create awesome experiences for our users, take ownership of building, maintaining, and improving our web-based user interfaces. As a tech-forward company operating in the music industry, we rely on our engineering team to deliver exceptional user experiences that are both visually stunning and highly functional. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our platforms are intuitive, responsive, and performant.

We're seeking someone who is both creative and detail-oriented: you naturally craft elegant and efficient code, yet you’re also able to think from the perspective of end-users to deliver outstanding experiences. In short, we're looking for someone who is passionate about front-end development and takes pride in creating exceptional products.

• We’d love to talk to you if ????
• You have at least 4 years of experience with front-end technologies (like ReactJS/Vue) and implementation of the overall web architecture
• You’re really passionate about music!
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries (Webpack, Sass, Tailwind, Less, CSS Modules, etc.)
• You simply love JavaScript/TypeScript
• You are experienced in building responsive and accessible designs
• You are comfortable with state management libraries like Redux or Vuex
• You have a proven ability to optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability
• You have experience integrating APIs and working with backend engineers
• You are familiar with modern development tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Git, CI/CD)
• You have experience working in startup or scale-up environments
• You have interests or experience in mobile technologies (such Flutter or Electron) will be a plus
• You speak good English or Portuguese

• Responsibilities ????
• Develop and maintain user-facing features for our web applications
• Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Ensure high-quality designs are implemented with pixel-perfect precision
• Optimize web applications for maximum performance and responsiveness
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues as they arise
• Contribute to the planning and execution of product roadmaps
