Work description

Em work description adicionar: In the scope of the ATE project, the x-Energy Laboratory has been developing hardware and software solutions for electric vehicles chargers, as well as solutions for managing them. As a result, there is a need to improve and create new ways of monitoring and managing the entire charging infrastructure. This BI comes about in this context with the aim of supporting the development of a tool that can be used by the management and maintenance teams of the solutions created.

The main objectives will be:

1) Research the state of the art of cross-platform development tools.

2) Follow a pre-established design and implement a UI for charger management with two aspects: a. Charger user access; b. Administrator access.

3) Implementation of improvements to User Experience (UX) based on expected functionalities.

4) Automation of the build, testing, deployment and monitoring process for the software components of the loaders and management server following a microservices architecture.

5) Testing the UI with existing infrastructure.

6) Testing the automation process in a laboratory environment.

7) Writing complementary articles if there are innovative results.

• Minimum profile required
• Academic training in computer engineering, software or similar field.

• Preference factors
• Previous experience (or academic training) in software engineering, computer science and similar.
• Experience in developing web and mobile applications.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with Python and JavaScript.

Maintenance stipend: € 1040,98 or 1309,64, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.

INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".

The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
