We are seeking a highly skilled Data Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a critical role in maintaining existing data systems, implementing new demands, and driving the growth of our Data Platform as data needs evolve.

• Responsibilities
• Maintain and enhance current data platforms and systems to meet organizational needs
• Implement new demands arising from data consumers or changes in platform technologies
• Develop solutions for integrating and managing complex, large-scale datasets
• Collaborate with platform teams to adopt and adapt to new features or changes within the Azure DevOps stack
• Support system scalability by designing and executing performance optimizations
• Contribute to the growth of the Azure Data Platform, including onboarding new datasets from scratch
• Collaborate with senior team members on intricate, large-scale data projects
• Ensure reliability and efficiency of Azure-based solutions in alignment with evolving data strategies
• Follow DevOps principles to streamline CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation
• Stay updated with technological advancements to provide innovative data solutions

• Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark
• Background in Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Azure
• Capability to utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning within the Azure ecosystem
• Expertise in handling large, complex datasets and delivering optimized solutions
• Understanding of cloud-based data architectures and industry best practices
• Skills in collaborating across teams and managing stakeholder communications
