AUTOMAISE is based in Braga, Portugal and is developing an Automated Machine Learning platform to build productivity solutions for Operations and Customer Care. We offer a no-code/low-code platform that enables brands to automate complex processes within incredibly short timeframes, helping organizations supercharge digital transformation strategies.

About the role

We are looking for a driven, curious, and fast learner to join our engineering team as a Backend Developer. This role will provide you with a standout chance to springboard a career in a growing and dynamic SaaS environment. Here you’ll have an opportunity to grow with our team, mentor our talented engineers and have a direct influence on our product evolution. Ultimately, inspire the company to reach the next level.

  • As a Senior Backend Engineer, we expect you to have:
  • 5 years minimum of work experience and an academic degree in a computer science field
  • .Net Core/C# and/or Java EE
  • Cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
  • Microservices /Service Oriented Architecture
  • Linux, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Databases/Queues (MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MySQL, etc.) – deployment and performance
  • REST APIs + JSON + XML + gRPC
  • Proficient English
  • We count on you to:
  • Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
  • Write clean & scalable code
  • Review, refactor existing and new source code
  • Be there for less experienced developers
  • Approach tasks with a flexible and adaptable mindset
