About the Role
We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks who wants to expand into security-focused work. In this role, you’ll apply your development skills (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular) to analyze, understand, and help secure web browser extensions.
This is a unique opportunity to combine frontend development and application security.
- What You’ll Do
- Review and analyze Chrome extension code to understand behavior and identify potential risks.
- Use your knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Angular to recognize suspicious patterns and insecure coding practices.
- Document findings and propose fixes or improvements to make extensions safer.
- Collaborate with security specialists to develop detection rules and automation for spotting vulnerabilities.
- Share knowledge and contribute ideas to strengthen the team’s approach to browser extension security.
- What We’re Looking For
- Strong development background in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React.js, Angular).
- Familiarity with Node.js and build tools like webpack.
- Curiosity about application security and willingness to learn reverse engineering, vulnerability detection, and secure coding practices.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
