The Role

We're searching for a high-performing full-stack developer with a strong focus on Supabase, Next.js, and AI tooling. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in building and optimizing modern web applications using Next.js and production experience with Supabase, including database design, real-time functionality, and performance tuning.

You will architect and develop both the front and back ends of our core applications, leveraging Supabase for data storage, authentication, and real-time features. You’ll also be expected to work with AI/LLM pipelines, including text chunking, token optimization, and integration of AI tools for performance-critical features. Experience with MCP/AI tools is mandatory.

What You'll Do

- Architect, develop, and deploy full-stack applications using React and Next.js.

- Leverage Supabase for database management, user authentication, and real-time subscriptions, ensuring optimal schema design and query performance.

- Integrate front-end components with back-end APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and minimal latency.

- Implement text chunking and token optimization strategies to improve LLM performance and cost efficiency.

- Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code.

- Optimize application performance, and identify and resolve bugs.

- Collaborate with the team on feature planning, architectural decisions, and code reviews.

- Take full ownership of projects, from initial concept to deployment.

Qualifications

Required:

- 3+ years of professional experience in React and Next.js.

- Proven, hands-on experience with Supabase, including database schema design, authentication, real-time features, and performance optimization.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Deep understanding of modern React concepts (hooks, context, state management).

- Experience with RESTful APIs and modern data-fetching libraries (e.g., React Query).

- Solid understanding of database design and optimization for production workloads.

- Experience with version control (Git).

- Experience with MCP/AI tools, including text chunking, token optimization, and integrating AI services for scalable applications.

Preferred:

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with serverless functions.

- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
