We are currently looking for Python Tech Lead for a Leading Multinational Retail Company

Requirements:

Tech Stack

Python, Machine Learning frameworks, Cloud platforms, REST APIs, Architecture design patterns

Profile Requirements

5+ years of experience in software development (focus on data systems and AI/ML or backend development with ML integration is a plus).

Strong proficiency in Python for data/AI applications and system architecture

Proven experience in software architecture design and implementation of best practices

Leadership skills with ability to guide technical teams, manage/delegate tasks, and estimate development effort

Excellent English communication skills for effective team collaboration and technical decision-making

Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and making strategic technical decisions

Strong understanding of software engineering principles for scalable data and AI systems

Nice to Have

Google Cloud Platform experience with familiarity of GCP tools, services, and implementation strategies

Business knowledge with ability to contribute product improvement ideas from a technical perspective

Understanding of frontend/backend communication patterns to inform architectural and integration decisions

Strong problem-solving methodology for debugging complex systems, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions

Experience with agile development practices and technical project management

Location: Lisbon, Braga, Coimbra, hybrid
