We are looking for an accomplished Lead React Developer to oversee our team of 6 people working on a white-labeled international electronic trading platform that is customized and rebranded for various European clients. As a lead member, you will guide the team’s technical direction, manage collaboration, and ensure the platform delivers a seamless and competitive user experience.
Please note that working from the customer's office in Lisbon 2-3 days per week is mandatory for this position.
- Responsibilities
- Lead the team in defining and driving the platform’s frontend development strategy
- Mentor team members to improve technical expertise and project ownership
- Coordinate with the team to design, develop, and optimize platform features
- Ensure the platform meets performance, security, and scalability standards
- Diagnose complex technical issues and define appropriate solutions
- Oversee code reviews to maintain best practices and ensure quality
- Document best practices, technical approaches, and project guidelines
- Stay informed of emerging tools and techniques to keep the platform competitive
- Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development focused on complex applications
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture
- Proven experience in WPF or strong familiarity with .NET frameworks
- Advanced understanding of HTML and CSS for building responsive interfaces
- Expert knowledge of React and its ecosystem, including state management libraries
- Strong understanding of web performance, security, and scalable development practices
- Ability to lead collaboration and communication within globally distributed teams
- Willingness to learn new domains quickly and support team members in doing so
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with proven leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level)
