We are looking for a Software Developer (m/f) to join our R&D Division at Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade, in Oeiras or Grijó.

Main responsibilities:

Provide support to solutions developed by other colleagues. These activities include for example: integrating machine learning solutions, or creating REST APIs.

Day to Day activities: backend development and communication with colleagues responsible for ML models, and colleagues responsible for the frontend side of our applications.

  • Candidates should:
  • Be able to build REST APIs;
  • Create Dockerfile(s) and docker-compose.yml files;
  • Be interested in exploring solutions such as:
  • - ML models;
  • - Asset management solutions;
  • - Among other topics;
  • Design and discuss code architectures to solve project-related problems.
  • Qualificações:
  • Bachelor and/or relevant experience;
  • Experience with containerization and CI/CD solutions is valued;
  • Python3, or other relevant programming languages;
  • Basic understanding on how to use Github/Gitlab, i.e., create a branch, a commit or pull-request;
  • Know how a JWT works and is validated;
  • Willingness to learn and grow is key for this position.
