Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model

As a Senior Fullstack Java & React Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in the banking industry, dedicated to revolutionizing Trade Finance solutions. Join us in building cutting-edge platforms that streamline guarantees, documentary credits, and collections, consolidating legacy systems into a unified, efficient environment.   • Your main responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Spring Boot (Java 17) and React (TypeScript).
  • Write clean, reusable, and high-performance code across the application stack.
  • Maintain and enhance legacy applications through reverse engineering and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and share best practices with team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and timelines to project leadership.
  • You're ideal for this role if you have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years as a full stack developer.
  • Strong command of Java (Spring Boot) and React (TypeScript).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Fluent English (B2 level or higher).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset.
  • Experience working within international teams and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • It is a strong plus if you have:
  • Additional certifications or experience in banking systems or similar financial applications.
  • Language Required for the role:
  • Fluent English
