Location will be Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra and the working model will be on-site/hybrid.

Candidates must be living in Portugal.

  • Requirements: Responsibilities:
  • Communicating, and implementing the Test approaches
  • Understand the requirements and raise valid question.
  • Contribute to automated test frameworks to verify functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborating and integrating with team members to ensure the delivery of a product to specification.
  • Troubleshooting, finding critical bugs or verifying reported issues and identifying their underlying cause.
  • Communicating status information and issues to a variety of stakeholders
  • Follow the best practices within the team
  • Essential:
  • Strong experience (2-3 yrs) of API testing, both manual and automated, developing automated acceptance tests for APIs in Java and Typescript (We are using Typescript predominantly but still have a small need for Java to maintain legacy systems until we have fully moved over to Typescript)
  • Experience of Typescript
  • Experience writing tests using BDD, Gherkin techniques
  • Experience of using GitHub or a similar tool
  • Experience of working collaboratively in
  • Agile Scrum teams
  • Effort estimation, planning, prioritization, and time management on an agile team
  • Automation code refactoring experience
  • Writing test approaches for functional testing and exploratory test charters, and communicating test outcomes CI/CD experience, deploying builds (we use AWS CodePipeline and GithubActions, but experience of Jenkins would be useful)
  • Experience of AWS services and AWS tools (e.g. S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc)
  • Experience using Postman, Bruno, Insomnia or similar API testing tools
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication for reporting, documentation, etc.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience or exposure to load testing tools - we use Gatling but experience of JMeter would be useful
  • Experience using Jira or a similar tool
  • Experience of exploratory testing of APIs
